My journey to crafting custom high quality furniture and cabinetry began in 1998 as a general contractor. Remodeling kitchens and bathrooms often involved purchasing “custom” factory cabinets for clients. Consequently, it also too often involved cabinet backs, hardware, and drawers falling apart as I unboxed them. I quickly grew sick and tired of having to repair new items while reassuring customers that their cabinets wouldn’t fall apart again as soon as I left.
So in 2002 I began constructing my own custom cabinets by hand, using only a small table saw, a drill, and some clamps. Although my machinery has seen some major changes since then, my core philosophies have not. I always use the highest quality materials money can buy, no MDF or particle board. Ultimately, this stems from a desire to put the customer first every single time.
